How long have you been in business?
Betty's Homemade Mints has been in business for over 30 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Wedding Mints
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Betty, my mother, worked at Cake Craft and Picture Frames several years before starting her own business making wedding mints, chocolates and other candies. My mother sold her business to her sister, my Aunt Diane. My Aunt only took orders for weddings, parties and showers. My Aunt, and my mother included me in the process of helping to make and package the orders before passing the business on to me. I have been making mints for 6 years now, it is a side job. I am a school teacher full-time.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My mints are made fresh to order, never frozen. You may pick-up, or I deliver or we can meet for pick-up.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one location, with no plans to expand.
