How long have you been in business?
Since 1979 as The Analytical Electronics Laboratory and Bio-Nucleonics which was located across from the VA Hospital on East Kellogg. The first Atomic Clock (a precise time and frequency reference standard utilizing the Caesium Atom) was brought to Kansas in 1980 by me [Dr. Ko].
What is your primary product or service?
Electrical and Electronics Engineering Professional Services that include precise measurement (Metrology) in environmental electromagnetic fields throughout the electromagnetic spectrum. These radiating energies can cause radio frequency interference, electrical noise, and signal or data distortion in communication and telecommunication systems. They can also cause imaging artifacts in MRI, CT, PET, Ultrasound image scans in medicine. There are many unwanted energetic point sources all around us due to today's vast expanding technologies. The keywords here are: RFI, EMI, EMC, EMP, ESD, Grounding, Shielding, Bonding, Lightning, Energy, Radiation, Safety.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been involved in Electroscience, Radio Physics, and Electrophysics for nearly 50 years. Trained by the federal government and then at several universities (globally), I hold doctorate degrees in electronics, electrical engineering, and electroscience (E.D., Ph.D., Sc.D., respectively). I am also a member of IEEE and other professional societies. I hold three federal commercial licenses and two operator licenses from the FCC. I am certified by several national and international accrediting organizations and societies.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There is no one in the central United States that has the professional expertise that I do within the field of electromagnetics and the electromagnetic spectrum. Also, I utilize a mobile measurement laboratory (one of a kind) that is fully equipped to measure any electromagnetic signal or radiation that invisibly exists in our surrounding air space. I also have many years of research experience on the biological effects of electric and magnetic fields and energies throughout the electromagnetic spectrum. Included in this research was psychophysiological effects of these same fields from ELF to SHF (extremely broadbanded frequencies).
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The Federal Consultants Corporation (FedCon) is centrally located in the exact center of the U.S. [Kansas] but has gone to AZ, TX, OK, CO, MO, NE, AR, NM for its dosimetric measurements and risk assessments. So, it is quite possible that other locations could crop up in these other states as well as locations abroad.

Also, I have been retained by several to measure environments for electronic surveillance devices (bugs) utilized for eavesdropping and information gathering from unauthorized sources. I have been referred to many times as a Professional GHOSTBUSTER. Engaged in measuring energies that you can't see, hear, feel, taste, smell or personally detect, but do exist.
